Pageant Girls Be Like

We all know the main #PageantGirlsBeLike

• There’s a difference between Miss America and Miss USA
• Not sure if that’s a crazy spider or my false eyelash
• NOPE these earrings are not big enough

But there’s a few other idiosyncrasies that come along with being a pageant girl. I think from my recent withdrawals I’ve been missing it more and more, and realize other unique tendencies I believe pageant girls also have. Otherwise, it’s just me and I’m a weirdo.

1. There are so many people you fan girl over, but simultaneously feel self conscious because they look so good and you occasionally feel like a potato. “You mean you don’t have a Wikipedia page?” Miss Universe Sweden Frida Fornander / my best international pageant friend told me.
2. You’re inherently extra
3. You can’t explain the contradictory feminist qualities of pageantry
4. You take screenshot pictures of gowns from Miss Universe, the Met Ball, and the Red Carpet to get some inspo for your next pageant dress
5. You bevel pose in group photos with normal people
6. You’ve done this to your photos (yoda blur meme)
7. You answer interview questions out loud without realizing it
8. You wish people at the grocery store knew how cute you could actually be when you try
